The course was developed for ASTICAN and its subcontractors. ASTICAN (Astilleros Canarios S.A.) is a privately-owned ship repair yard whose main activity is the repair, maintenance, and conversion of all types of vessels. The training has been recognized internationally as a pioneering sector initiative.
